We will be back!

August, 2009

Eating dinner on the porch, enjoying the night time fire, the views, watching the sun fade behind the mountains, walking along the flats in the early morning, watching the tide race in, enjoying time with our friends.

Thank you for sharing your home with us. We will be back!

An amazing home, and amazing setting!

Weather could not have been better.

What an adventure to walk out at low, low tide with our grandchildren 3 yrs, and 6 yrs. We nicknamed one of the dolphins (in the fountain) Mr. Trodles.

Beautiful scenery! Amazing wild life! Gorgeous living space!

The kitchen was spacious enough for eight people to be working and socializing in the living area, and the yard provided a wonderful play space for our children. Finally the bedrooms and beautiful master bath were wonderful to relax in .

Peaceful, quiet and the beauty!

April 2009

What wonderful surroundings! Peaceful, quiet and the beauty! Came to see our kids, who go to college in Bellingham. As we come up here often, we will come back to this spot for the pleasure of spending time playing games, visiting and cooking in this wonderful kitchen.

Thank you for such a great home. It was more than I could have imagined. We will be calling again soon!

Saw more blue herons than we could count!

March 2009

G-Pod (Gras.. Family) and Grandma enjoyed a relaxing weekend in your beautiful home. One day of rain and one sun--can't expect much more this time of year. We're able to show Grandma some of the daffodils--too early for tulips. Saw more blue herons than we could count and more than a dozen bald eagles!

Kids found plenty of shells and a few sand dollars (only, the ones with no fuzz on the bottom).

Seeing this combined with a Sounders win, made for a fantastic weekend.

Thanks for everything!

A feast in a setting that makes me feel so fortunate and grateful

September 2008

Opening my eyes this morning to see the purple pink dawn of the day was the beginning of a day full of beauty and exploration. Walked up the hill and around the neighborhood. Then we all went for a low tide walk, barefoot in the sand. We saw Hundreds of sand dollars, made the horse clams squirt, great views and had nice talks in the majestic landscape. We are packing up and with us we take away our new memories to keep forever of the fantastic salmon and corn dinner. A feast in a setting that makes me feel so fortunate and grateful for this weekend!

rejuvenated through my feet in the sand

September, 2008

Walked the long beach at low tide, rejuvenated through my feet in the sand. A rare chance to sneak the asphalt and boot leather, out from between me and the earth.
